Concerts & Fireworks

Salisbury Beach's free summer concerts and fireworks happen at the Oceanfront Stage at the Salisbury Beach Center, at the top of Broadway, and are run by the Salisbury Beach Partnership, a nonprofit. In 2026 there were live bands every Saturday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. from late June to early September, a Friday night beach dance party, and beachfront fireworks from 10:15 to 10:35 p.m. on five Saturdays, weather permitting. The events are in the town's beach center, a short walk from the state reservation.

The 2026 Summer Pattern

The Partnership publishes each season's schedule on its own calendar. In 2026 it ran:

• Saturday Night Bands: regional bands on the beachfront stage, 7:30 to 10 p.m., June 27 to September 5.
• Friday Night Beach Dance Party: 7:15 to 10 p.m., June 26 to August 28, plus Thursday, July 2.
• Fireworks: 10:15 to 10:35 p.m. on July 4, July 11, July 25, August 8 and August 29, weather permitting.
• Liberty by the Sea: a week of nightly entertainment on the oceanfront stage around the Fourth of July, June 29 to July 6.
• Pet Parade: costumed dogs on Broadway, held in July.
• RiverFest: a free one-day music festival on the Broadway beachfront stage, August 22, presented by a Boston radio station.

Expect a similar pattern next summer, but check the Partnership's calendar for the actual dates before you plan around them.

Tips for a Concert or Fireworks Night

• Bring chairs or a blanket. The Partnership says there are benches and picnic tables but plenty of room to spread out and dance.
• Park early. On fireworks Saturdays the town lots and Broadway meters fill. Town meters have a 3-hour limit; the James Hunt lot's 3-hour-plus rate is $35. See the beach center for rates.
• Camping at the reservation? The beach center is within walking distance along the sand, and you avoid moving the car. See camping.
• Dogs: dogs are banned from the beach itself from April 1 to September 15. See dog rules.
